Translation

Prologue

When it's just the two of us,
sadness, too, fails to ignite
Eventually the fallen tears
dry and turn transparent

You taught me
that sugar cubes left close to an ant hill
will be gone in the morning

These are the devil's deeds
The more I didn't want to know this world,
the more knowledge I gained
I want to talk, just the two of us
but the corners of my eyes droop

I forgot to attach
the bicycle light on that midnight ride
That police offer, in a rush
overlooked me just this once

But why, I wonder?
For no reason at all my anger rose and tears began to fall
Maybe it's because the stars are out

These are the devil's deeds
The more I didn't want to know this world,
the more knowledge I gained
I want to try living with you
and enjoy the view

The red, ripe setting sun
I honestly don't think I can give it up,
the more knowledge I gain
I just want to laugh sweetly
such an irritating thought
